The Ultimate Gift
I just saw the movie The Ultimate Gift and I suggest everyone watch the movie. It's a very inspiring movie and I think we all should learn and live the 12 gifts.
1. The gift of work.
2. The gift of problems.
3. The gift of friends.
4. The gift of giving.
5. The gift of gratitude.
6. The gift of family.
7. The gift of learning.
8. The gift of money.
9. The gift of laughter.
10. The gift of a day.
11. The gift of dreams.
12. The gift of love (which leads to the ultimate gift).

8 Weeks Out
Currently 8 weeks out from the INBF World Championships. I fell off track a little because I was busy trying to find a BMW and I had a bunch of other things going on. Thankfully the search is finally over. I got a black on black 2005 BMW 325i. I was really trying to find a coupe but I settled for a sedan because it satisfied everything else that I was looking for.
My physique is coming along great. I'm still not ready to change anything yet because I am progressing very well. The diet sucks even though I've been having a few cheat meals here and there.
Beneath The Wings Of Angels
Beneath the wings of angels we sometimes find release from the trials that prevent us from finding lasting peace.
God often sends his messengers to guide us on our way.
They shelter us beneath their wings and somehow save the day.
God knows that we're not perfect and we don't understand.
So he sometimes sends us angels to lend a helping hand.
Angels guide and protect us from dangers in this world for beneath the wings of angels his blesings are unfurled.

Oprah
Ok I'm going to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show along with fellow personal trainer Joseph Hunt. We will be on Oprah because of Joe's former client and my friend Rosemarie Marescie. Rose lost over 100lbs naturally through working out hard and eating healthy. When we heard Oprah was looking for people who lost a significant amount of weight naturally without surgery, we had to send in Rose's story. I wrote a letter to Oprah on behalf of Rose telling her story. We were all excited to receive an invitation to the show and we can't wait. The show will film in December and air in February. Who knows what doors this will open for all 3 of us.
Life keeps getting more interesting with each new day and opportunities.
9 Weeks Out
Ok I'm 9 weeks out from the INBF World Championships. Seems as I fix one problem another arises. My arms used to be my strongest bodypart and outshined everything else. So I set out on brining up everything else while just working on maintaining them. Now my chest and back made some significant improvements and my arms appear too small. As with everything else it just requires more work. My training routine is still 3 days on 1 day off. The exercises and rep range are constantly changing so my body never fully adjusts to any one thing and keeps progressing. My traps, chest, back, abs and shoulders are progressing very well. I know for sure I need to adjust my arm workouts to try and put some more size on them so that means heavy weights and lower reps. I'm not sure about my legs however because they look the same as they always do. What really worries me about my legs is the fact that my left leg is cut deeper than my right, I've been trying to even them out all year but haven't made much progress with that. As usual my calves look like crap even though I've been training them hard on leg day and hitting them a little on my other workout days.
The small change in my diet has created some positive changes. The only problem is I think I might be leaning out a bit too much, I think the best thing to do is give it another week and see before making any changes because I don't want to make a change just because I feel a certain way when it might not be necessary.
Random Thoughts
Lately I've been doing a lot of thinking. Thinking about life, how I'm living, how I want to live and where I've been. I try not to spend a lot of time thinking about the past but it can't be helped. They say the past is a good indication of the future after all when you think about it most of our life is the past, the present is so short. In the gym it's me versus the weights and trust me I always lose. See my body has to undergo constant change while the weights remain the same, 200 pounds is always 200 pounds. Sometimes the weights get so heavy it's like I'm moving the world and man it feels great. When I first got into bodybuilding I thought it was my out but now I'm not so sure. After all I did take the natural route. Our lives are defined by opportunities both missed and taken.
Life constantly change one minute your happy next your sad. What is it that I want out if this life? Damn at times I don't know. Do I want companionship? Sure I do I mean who wants to be alone but you gotta be extramely lucky to find both beauty and substance. I'd be a liar if I didn't say the first thing I go for is beauty. You have to get to know someone to find substance.
The answer to the question above is yes I'm happy. My life is filled with positive opportunities. I'm going to be on Oprah and who knows what opportunities will arise from it. I'm so blessed, sometimes I forget just how much. I'm working hard to make my dreams come true, I'm not relying on luck.
Training Tip 2
Train abs at the end of your workout. The reason you should save abs for last is because they act as stabilizers and work while performing other exercises as long as your doing the drawing in maneuver (keeping your abs tight). You don't want to be doing big movements like heavy squats with fatigued abs because you run the risk of serious injury. So do abs at the end of your training session for best results and safety.
